'Sagar' (Kannada)
Under the banner of 'Ramu Enterprises', Sagar, a romantic family-based subject has hit screens this week. Boasting of a huge star cast like Prajwal Devaraj, Radhika Pandit, Haripriya and Sanjjanaa, the movie revolves around two childhood friends who get fixed up by their parents but despite many efforts they just don't find that spark between them.
Directed by M D Sridhar, the music for the film has been composed by Gurukiran. Krishnakumar has done the cinematography.
The movie has all the ingredients like love, romance, action, emotion and mischief. It also stars Telugu actor Dev Gill of 'Magadheera' fame. Avinash, Sharath Lohitashva, Vinaya Prakash, Sangeetha and others are also a part of the cast.

After a long time, the Kannada film industry will see a horror film on screen. Titled 12 AM Madhyarathri, the movie is the first from 'Kashinath Production Training Institute'.
Directed by a newcomer Karthik, the movie is produced by Prathima and Vijaykumar and stars a lot of newcomers. Veteran actor Kashinath is the only familiar face in the film.
The story revolves around strange things happening in a medical college. Kashinath plays the role of a professor and Abhimanyu and Divya Sridhar star in the lead. Rajesh Ramanath has scored the background music.
