Gold under the sea
In the frontier town of Nome, Alaska, there's a gold rush on.

As the ice pack melts during the summer months, this isolated port town of eccentrics and outcasts booms with excitement, as pioneer dredgers rush to get out onto the water.

But you've never seen gold mining like this before — here, the precious metal isn't found in the ground; it's sitting on the bottom of the frigid and unpredictable Bering Sea.

The real and sometimes desperate need to find gold support these people's very existence.

Born of a prophecy

Eragon' airs on Star Movies at 11 pm on August 11. Directed by Stefen Fangmeier, the movie stars Ed Speleers, Jeremy Irons, Sienna Guillory, Robert Carlyle and Djimon Hounsou. King Galbatorix (played by John Malkovich) who rules over Alagaesia is evil.

He is a former dragon rider who betrayed his citizens in order to become powerful.

Eragon (played by Ed Speleers) is a farm boy who has been orphaned at a young age. He finds a blue stone that has been sent by Princess Arya ( essayed by Sienna Guillory) and soon gets to know that it is actually a dragon's egg.

Saphira the dragon is born and soon, Eragon becomes the dragon rider whose appearance had been predicted in an ancient prophecy.

Watch the film to see how he goes about freeing the people from not just Galbatorix, but also the evil sorcerer Durza.
