'Sojourn'
Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College is all geared up to host 'SOJOURN', a state level socio-media fest on August 14.
The fest will be organised by the department of journalism and the department of sociology and expects the participation of around 20 colleges from Bangalore.
The three main events are radio jockeying, short film-making and 'Big Fight', which are meant exclusively for journalism students.
There will also be a collage competition as well as a few competitions exclusively for the sociology students and a debate.
Mahesh Joshi, deputy director general of Doordarshan will be the chief guest for who will inaugurate the event.
The festival is expected to attract more than 500 students to take part in various events and showcase their skills.
