Euphonia 2012', a festival of church choirs, will be held at Indiranagar Methodist Church, Indiranagar 100-ft Road on November 24 at 5 pm.

The evening will feature a musical extravaganza by nine choirs. The event will conclude with a finale choir of 150 voices paying a tribute to Mozart's 'GLORIA', conducted by Sandra Oberoi, director, Harmony Music School.

The participating choirs are St Luke's Church, Mar Thoma Syrian Church, Wesley English Children's Choir, East Parade Church, St Andrew's Church, Pavanasar Lutheran Church, Richmond Town Methodist Church, Christian Missionary Fellowship International Church, and the Indiranagar Methodist Church.

The choirs present a wide variety of songs - from the classical to the contemporary and the songs are sung to the accompaniment of instruments like guitars, keyboard and drums or just simply the organ or piano or just 'a cappella'. The highlight of the evening will be a performance by an artiste from the United Kingdom, Heather Andrews who is a singer and song writer.

Heather has worked with Grammy-winning producer Narada Michael Walden to produce her debut album 'Songs Of My Very Own'. Euphonia was started in 2007 by the Indiranagar Methodist Church. Entry is free.
