Talent to reckon with
All the speculation regarding who the super judge on the jury panel of this edition of Indian Idol has been put to rest — recently, this was revealed to be Asha Bhosle. The other judges on the show are music director Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan and composer and singer, Salim Merchant. 'Indian Idol ', in its sixth edition, will also present heart-warming stories of parents' sacrifice, friends' commitment, neighbours' motivation, gurus' passion and the prayer and support of many others which is vital to the show. N P Singh, the COOof Multi Screen Media, says, "Asha ji will take the much-awaited sixth season of Indian Idol to a completely new level."
Hopefully, her fans will have a blast watching the veteran singer on the show.
The cute kid on the block
Darsheel Safary is already learning the nuances of wooing Bollywood ladies.
Recently, the Taare Zameen Par child star serenaded Priyanka Chopra and Madhuri Dixit on the sets of the reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, The 16-year-old, who is among the 12 contestants on the forthcoming show this year, danced to the romantic number Chaudhvi ka Chaand with Madhuri, who is one of the judges on the show.
He also grooved to the evergreen song with Priyanka, who came in as a special guest.
Suited and booted, Darsheel kissed the ladies' hands, making them blush, said a source from the sets. The fifth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, based on the format of the international show 'Dancing With The Stars', premieres on Colors on June 16.
A race to the finish
Amazing Race' airs on AXN on June 14 at 6 pm. At each destination, the teams will compete with each other in a series of tasks — both mental and physical — before learning their next destination.

Doing his part
Actor Ravi Dubey, popularly known for his role as Tej in the popular soap Saas Bina Sasuraal, believes in giving back to the society. So, he regularly donates a part of his monthly earnings to a charity. It isn't a recently-acquired habit either; according to a source, his practice dates back to his childhood, when he used to save a small amount of pocket money and give it to noble causes.
Comedy for the family
Producer and director Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the maker of popular family entertainers like Namaste London, Waqt and 'Action Replay', is taking over the small screen with a new show called Bhai Bhaiyya aur Brother.
The show is a laugh riot that also includes actor Deven Bhojani, who is famous for
sitcoms like Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai, Khichdi and Baa Bahoo aur Baby.
Talking about the show, Vipul Amrutlal Shah says, "The core mantra of our work has always been to present the viewers with wholesome family entertainers that can be enjoyed by the entire family.
