Constant innovation, new trends

Monte Carlo has changed its wardrobe, in keeping with the changing tastes of young people. The research team ventures out to get a hang of what the young want when it comes to clothes; and the design team of the brand wishes to call itself youth-focussed.

"We create designs keeping today's youth in mind — what they like, where they hang out and their habits. If you think about it, this generation has been spoilt for choices in each category. And the only way you can get to them is with the right approach, which we lay special emphasis on," reasons the design team.

Brands always face intense competition in the market and staying ahead in the race is a challenge in itself. Monte Carlo prefers to concentrate on sprucing up the wardrobe it offers to the young.

The team says that it doesn't compromise on the designs and makes a conscious effort to see that no two designs look the same. It also emphasises on offering competitive prices.

"We are looking at providing cutting-edge designs which boast of international standards — at comparatively affordable prices. We strongly believe it is not the company or stakeholders, but the customers who create the brand," explains the design team.

The brands caters to everybody from 12 years to 60 years of age. It has denims in all colours, very girly tops with quirky designs on them, formal shirts and T-shirts as well. It also has an exclusive section that stocks gym wear.

"Our brand is a household name and we have a wide reach when it comes to the target group. We have something for everyone, be it men or women," adds the team. Accessories are an inevitable part of dressing up.

"They complete the look. A simple casual outfit, when teamed with a hat or a scarf, changes the look. Jewellery, bags or shoes can add to the charm," concludes the team.
