MBA programme from IIFT
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is offering an MBA in International Business. This is a foundation course for developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet the country's growing requirements for training personnel in the field of international business management.
For the two-year, full-time MBAprogramme, students with a recognised Bachelor's degree in any discipline may apply. Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination, with the submission of proof of requisite qualification, may also apply.
Seats will be reserved as per the Government of India rules. The reservations are subject to candidates meeting the admission requirement of the Institute under different categories.
Selection will be on the basis of a written test, group discussion, essay writing and personal interview. The written test will be held on November 25, 2012 between 10 am and 12 noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.
Based on these scores, a limited number of candidates will be invited for the second phase of the selection process comprising group discussion, essay writing and interview to be held in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. IIFT reserves the right to add/delete any centre, if required.
The application form may be obtained on all working days on payment of Rs 1,500 at the Indian Institute of foreign Trade, B-21,Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi- 110016. Last date for the sale of prospectus is August 20, 2012.
