If mushy puppy romance is your idea of entertainment at the movies, then Tuneega Tuneega is the best bet. Routine and related in a matter-of-fact manner, Raju's Tuneega Tuneega has nothing much to offer by way of script or story than the pleasing performances of its lead players.

Peppered with comic interludes and seasoned with emotional moments, Tuneega Tuneega, told in flashback, is the proverbial cupid caper where childhood playmates grow into courtship and misunderstandings before the familiar, foregone, tepid ending.

As for the prosaic plot, Tuneega Tuneega is all about how Karthik (a student of dance and music) plays a prank incurring the wrath of Nidhi and how she vows to seek her own sweet revenge. However, cupid gets down to business, and whether the beauty will fall for the beau's charm or whether she will achieve her vengeance, forms the fulcrum of the film.

Incidentally, Karthik and Nidhi are siblings of two bosom friends — Ramaswamy and Ravindra.

While the first half is bearable, the second drags so much that you wouldn't lose much if snooze and snore take over.

While Ashwin, with his director-father providing him a launch vehicle, tries to make personable debut, Rhea oozes oomph and prettiness. Gopal Reddy's cinematography, which adds lustre, is the saving grace of an otherwise predictable outing.
