Robot vs human
Dr Vaseekaran, a scientist, toils for ten years to create the first android humanoid robot, which he names Chitti.
Although he wants to use it as part of the army, Dr Bora, another scientist, disapproves of it because it doesn't have human judgement — which is why Dr Vaseekaran induces human feeling in the robot. However, Chitti then falls in love with his girlfriend, Sana, so he is forced to kill it.
Dr Bora brings Chitti back to life so that he can sell the invention for a large sum. But Chitti's love for Sana has turned him dangerous and violent and he goes on a rampage — to the extent that he ends up killing Dr Bora. How will Dr Vaseekaran destroy his own invention and bring back peace? Watch 'Robot' to find out. It airs on July 21 at 9 pm on Sony Max. The movie stars Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai.
Sequel to a hit
Mission: Impossible II' is a 2000 American action spy film directed by John Woo and starring Tom Cruise, who also served as the film's producer.
It is a sequel to Brian De Palma's 1996 film 'Mission: Impossible' with Cruise reprising his role as agent Ethan Hunt of the IMF, a top-secret espionage and clandestine operation agency.
The film is part of the 'Mission: Impossible' film series. It airs on July 21 at 10 pm on AXN.
