Free counselling for IIT test
Over 5,00,000 aspirants sign up every year to complete for the 7,000 seats in the 15 best colleges across the country. The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is reforming the present pattern of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) to Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET).
ISEET will be a common entrance examination conducted to get admitted to all IITs, NITs and all other engineering colleges. This is the very first time the government has decided to hold a common entrance exam (ISEET).
The Printers Mysore Private Limited will be conducting a counselling session for the common entrance test on July 22, 2012. As this is first year of this new test format, the aim is to provide counselling from expert trainers to students of Class 10, 11 and 12. Anand Kumar (of Super 30 fame), has agreed to address the students on July 22, 2012. Dr. Ali Khwaja will also be present at the session. Sports-based programme
Anil Kumble's TENVIC and Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) have collaborated to conduct 'Lessons from Sport', a sports-based education programme for corporate executives. Since it is a part of the IIMB Executive Education Programme, the session has been scheduled to be held on the IIM Bangalore campus on July 20 and 21, 2012. The intensive programme, co-created by the faculty from IIM-Bangalore and seasoned professionals from TENVIC, will employ knowledge sharing tactics including classroom sessions, interactive talks, panel discussions, video based case studies and simulated sporting environment. Four-year B.tech programme
Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad invites application forms to its B.Tech, CSE, ECE, CE, ME, CSIT programmes for its 2012-2016 batch at the Faridabad campus.
Course duration: 4 years. The criterion for admission in B.Tech will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in Class 10 and 12. For securing admission to the B.Tech programme, students must have secured at least 65 per cent marks in Class 10 and 12 or should have a valid rank/score in AIEEE exam.
