As part of 'The Deccan Herald Theatre Festival 2013', there will be two plays staged over the weekend at Chowdiah Memorial Hall.

On February 2, 7.30 pm WeMove Theatre will be showcasing 'P.S. I Don't Love You', a romantic comedy written and directed by Abhishek Iyengar, which revolves around characters brilliantly common and distinct at the same time. The play is about a couple everyone envies, who are probably a match made in heaven. All of a sudden, the lady gets a sudden-strong-stable realisation of perfection being the ultimate flaw. This tale with five friends — the couple, an insecure person desperate for a Prince Charming girl, a hyper-excited crazy nutcase and a sensible mature guy, set out for what they believe as 'journey of a lifetime'. The cast includes Rangaraj Bhattacharya, Nagashree D M, Anirudh Mahesh, Ajit Vishwanath, Prachi Jain, Sushanth Shandilya, Gowtham Shravan, Kumar, Dr Sohan, Divya Dev and Neha Agrawal.

On February 3, 7.30 pm, Play Pen will present 'Gasping', written by Ben Elton, and directed by Ashish Sen, which is a hilarious look at what happens when you sell air.

As pollution levels soar across the world, corporate greed knows no boundaries and 'designer air' proves to be the marketing phenomenon of the decade. And then, things begin to go horribly wrong. The cast includes Kumar Iyengar, Salmin Sherrif, Sameer Roy, Deepti Sudhindra, Munira Sen, Sandhya Kamal, Nandini Manjunath, Himadri Madan, Manasi S Joshi, Dhanashri Mohan, Swapoorna Sen and B S Jagan.
