Vidya Integrated Development for Youth and Adults' is presenting 'The Divine Flute', a concert by Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, the celebrated exponent of the bansuri (bamboo flute) in the Hindustani classical music tradition, on January 27, 10.30 am at Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha, 8th Main Road, HAL II Stage.
Hariprasad Chaurasia's innovative, yet traditional style of music, has won him accolades in performances around the world.
He was awarded the Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan and was also honoured by the Dutch royal family and the French government.

The bansuri is one of the three original forms of rendering Indian classical music according to ancient scriptures — vaani (vocal), veena (string) and venu (flute). He has further enhanced
its charm with his innovative finger and blowing techniques.
