Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA) is conducting a proficiency diploma in electrical insulation technology.
The course has been designed by Dr G R Nagabhushana, Emeritus Fellow, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, with inputs from industry to make it relevant and useful.
The course contents are useful and relevant to all personnel working in diverse industries (like manufacturers, repairers, test laboratories, users of electrical equipment) who are dealing in products like motors, transformers, generators, capacitors and cables.
The course uses modern and emerging tools of teaching - e-learning and augumented by chat sessions, bulletin boards and mentor-mentee interactions. Training is provided online through internet with periodic interactive sessions with the expert faculty.

The course material is organised with two levels - basic and advanced. The candidates are required to complete one project at advanced level which would enhance their knowledge and can be on a subject of their interest in the field of electrical insulation.
