Actors in tinsel town are known to get close while shooting for a particular film, and Priyanka Chopra and southern star Ram Charan are no different.
The duo is currently shooting for Apoorva Lakhia's remake of Zanjeer, and it seems that the two lead actors are getting along like a house on fire on the sets of the film.
In fact, the actors have been making every effort to help each other out as well.
One of the problems that both face is delivering their dialogues fluently — the film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu and while Priyanka has no problem mouthing her Hindi dialogues, she is obviously still getting a grip on her diction in Telugu while Ram Charan has exactly the opposite problem.
However, the actors are making it a point to work together to overcome this problem.
In fact, a source present on the sets says that after the pack up, the two spend two or three hours brushing up on their language skills, and helping each other get a better idea of their respective tongues.
The source mentions that the members of the crew have even come up with a little game — they have an ongoing bet of Rs 500 as to who would forget their dialogues first.
Because of this bet, Ram Charan and Priyanka have been working extra hard to make sure that they deliver their lines perfectly. Though they keep pulling each other's leg about it, no conclusion has been reached yet since both the stars have managed to hold their own and deliver perfectly so far.
Produced by Reliance Entertainment, Amit Mehra and Flying Turtle Films, Zanjeer is a remake of the 1973 hit film directed by Prakash Mehra. It is set to hit theatres this summer.

Apparently, Deepa Mehta paid Salman Rushdie a very small amount for the rights of his book, 'Midnight's Children', which she is converting into a movie — exactly one dollar.
It's said that big ideas come out of most casual of conversations and that's
exactly what happened when Deepa and Salman Rushdie sat down to dinner four years ago.
In the general conversation, the acclaimed film-maker inquired about the film rights of 'Midnight's Children' and the author happily gave it to her for the small price.
There's a lot of curiosity about the movie and film-buffs are definitely going to be waiting eagerly for it to hit the big screen.

'I was notorious in school'
Kajal Aggarwal, who is the only female with 26 men in Special Chabbis, had a great time playing the role of a simple, sweet and docile school teacher in the movie. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role with Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher in supporting roles.
The actress, who was earlier seen in Singham opposite Ajay Devgan, could not be more excited about it. "It was a wonderful experience playing a teacher. I was always notorious in my school and college days and I always gave my teachers a hard time. It was fun walking in their shoes for a bit.
My role in Special Chabbis is quite contrary to how I am as a person. So, it was something different. Also, since the movie is set in the early 80s, I have worn a lot of simple Indian clothes," smiles Kajal.
She's been lucky in terms of co-stars — after working with Ajay Devgan, this is the second time that she will share screen space with experienced actors. "It was a great experience working with Akshay Kumar. I have been a huge fan of his and I learnt a lot too," she says. Kajal, who was last seen as boxer Nisha in Murugadoss's Thuppakki, is obviously on a roll.
Sherlyn goes traditional
Sherlyn Chopra recently gave a popular awards ceremony a miss and opted, instead, to go for a much more traditional event — a Lohri party. The event was organised by the president of the Punjabi Cultural and Heritage Board, among other people.
Sherlyn was joined by cricketer Harbhajan Singh, former Miss World Yukta Mookhey and comedian Raju Shrivastav.
Sherlyn looked gorgeous in her shocking red sari with a beautiful backless blouse, and accessorised her look with traditional gajra in her hair, making her look like the perfect desi girl.
Unable to find a buyer
Veteran actor Kamal Hassan knew he was taking quite a gamble with his film Vishwaroopam, which he had initially decided to release directly in the DTH format.
According to trade insiders, the actor was demanding about Rs 140 crores for the film, from prospective buyers like Eros, UTV and Reliance. But interestingly, no production house was willing to buy the film for such a hefty price.
The actor was willing to budge an inch or two, but the production houses were not. While Kamal is definitely an intelligent director, his films are not known for their commercial value — and hence the tepid response.
"He was ready to come down to a figure of Rs 110 crores but sadly, no one was willing to take that risk. The price quoted came up to a maximum of only Rs 80 crores. It was a shock for Kamal. In such a scenario, he knew that he was not even getting back the production cost," says a top Tamil producer.
Behind the camera again
Yash Raj Films' next project, directed by Shaad Ali, will go on floor in October this year.
This will be Shaad's fourth film with the production house, after his earlier outings with the camp like Saathiya, Bunty Aur Babli and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.
The movie is called Kill Dil and is produced by Aditya Chopra.
It will boast of a stellar star cast like Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles and is slated for a 2014 release.
Shaad had branched out on his own as an independent director with Saathiya — starring Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji — and a remake of Mani Ratnam's Tamil hit Alai Payuthe, after having assisted Mani Ratnam in Dil Se. But he did not have any qualms about continuing to assist his mentor, Mani Ratnam in films like Guru and Raavan.
Incidentally, it has been six years after his last film as a full fledged director, which was Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.
