A huge transformation

Adnan Sami is all set to release his next album, after a long gap of five years — and along with it, he's also unleashed his funny side. The singer has released a series of funny videos, where he quite plainly proves his ability to laugh at himself.

He will be seen in different mundane settings throughout the series of videos, which are based on real events from his life, where people simply cannot recognise the singer after his phenomenal weight loss.

Adnan's new avatar has left him looking remarkably fit but also completely unrecognisable, leading to several funny incidents. The first video opens to Adnan stepping into a lift with two other people and he proceeds to hum the tune to his hit song Lift Karadey, expecting some form of recognition.

However, all he gets are a couple of strange stares from the other people in the lift. The second video sees him being asked to vacate a seat at a shoot that is reserved for him because the crew on the set does not recognise him.

In another video, Adnan is seen preparing for a blind date — but on his arrival his date moves away from the table as soon as he sits down, leaving Adnan alone at the table with a menu. The album, titled 'Press Play', is Adnan's first studio album in five years and is currently scheduled for an early-January release.
