Vikram Bhatt has been on a lucky streak of late; his last few films Raaz 3 and '1920 Evil Returns', have done well at the box office and the director and producer — also known as the face of Indian horror — is already planning his next film.
This is going to be the third installment of the thrilling '1920' franchise, and will be produced by the ASA Production Banner.
Rumour has it that Prachi Desai, who made an impact on the silver screen with movies like 'Rock On' and Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai, has been signed up for the film.
Besides this, it will also mark the directorial debut of Tinu Suresh Desai.
Talking about his decision to cast Prachi in the role, Vikram says, "The girl in the film belongs to a royal family and Prachi is someone who looks extremely classy and dignified. She has that allure of royalty."
Evidently, his admiration isn't one-sided.
Prachi too is all praises for the producer, saying, "I am glad Vikram and I are finally working together. The story blew my mind, it's never been seen before. His films have clearly touched the pulse of the audience and this will be my first thriller-cum-horror movie and I'm very excited to be trying my hand at a different genre."
Prachi hasn't been seen in a horror flick before but given Vikram's skill with the genre, film-buffs are definitely going to be curious about this project. The film, which will
go on the floors in March 2013, is to be shot entirely in London.
