When can I appear for the GRE revised General Test? How often is the test held in India?
The GRE revised General Test is offered as a computer-based test (CBT) year-round by appointment in India. Availability is based on what location, date and time a prospective student selects, but more information is available through our registration system at www.ets.org/gre/register.

The GRE revised General Test is available at about 700 locations worldwide in more than 160 countries. In India, ETS offers the GRE revised General Test at 10 test centers in cities from Bangalore to New Delhi and Kolkata to Ahmadabad.

* New question types, like entering a number or selecting more than one answer choice when asked, so they can better demonstrate what they know

* The introduction of an on-screen calculator for the Quantitative Reasoning section. (For those taking the paper-based GRE revised General Test, calculators will be provided at the test center for use during the test.)
