The film is set in 1950 Beijing, where Qiang is all of four years — and a little devil at that. As his parents travel a lot, Qiang's father decides to place him at a residential school.
While his teacher Li does her best to tame the little boy, Qiang is all set to break her will and even lead the other boys into a rebellion.
