Something new for Emraan

In his last few movies, Emraan Hashmi has made a conscious attempt to break away from his stereotype and showcase his mettle as an actor. And it seems that he's taking this forward in his upcoming film Ghanchakkar. The actor will be seen opposite Vidya Balan in this movie, and both seem to be putting in their all to make sure it's a great cinematic experience.

Shooting for Ghanchakkar has also given Emraan the chance to try something he's never done before —he's going to shoot for a scene of the film in a local train in Mumbai. The scene is an action-oriented one, and it seems that Emraan is quite excited about pulling off some stunts in the train.

The film-makers of Ghanchakkar have sought special permission from the Western Railways for the shoot, which will take place sometime next month at night. The train will go from Borivali to Andheri, and Emraan — who plays a master safe-cracker in the film — will be seen fighting a bunch of gangsters on the journey.

Manish Hariprasad, the creative director of Studios Disney, UTV, says, "Yes, we are doing some action sequence in the train for Ghanchakkar. It is an essential scene in the movie, which is a quirky thriller."

Ghanchakkar is directed by Rajkumar Gupta. The film is
scheduled to release on June 21, 2013.

Touched by Vivek's gesture

Naomi Watts, who portrays the role of the tsunami victim in 'The Impossible', has written an appreciation letter to Vivek Oberoi for his contribution towards rehabilitating tsunami-hit families in the Indian sub-continent. Vivek had adopted a village in Tamil Nadu, named Thevanapattinam, in 2004.

Naomi was deeply moved when she heard that Vivek has been involved in providing welfare for these families.

The actress has received a Golden Globe nomination for her outstanding role in 'The Impossible', which will release in India on January 4, 2013.

From the director of 'The Orphanage', 'The Impossible' is the story of Maria (played by Naomi Watts), Henry (essayed by Ewan McGregor) and their three children.
The family had just begun started enjoying their winter vacation in Thailand when an unexpected tsunami threatened to destroy the entire region on the unforgettable day of December 26, 2004.

The story traces the frenzied journey of search, compassion, courage and how the family survives in the darkest hours of their lives, following the wild flood.
