Sportswear with a twist

This American-inspired, global brand has been built on a strong foundation of heritage and authenticity in sports and fitness. The brand is committed to designing products and marketing programmes that reflect creativity and the desire to constantly challenge the 'status quo'.

Reebok believes that creativity and constant experimentation is what has helped the brand stay ahead of its competitors. They have a different take on everything and have the courage to challenge convention. The brand stocks a range of funky tracks, three-fourth pants for men and women, fitted T-shirts, jackets and sleeveless T-shirts in addition to accessories such as sippers, head and hand bands to mention a few.

Another new addition is the 'RealFlex' footwear, which comes in a variety of colours. 'RealFlex' delivers a sock-like feel to the wearer, thus promoting and enhancing natural movement. The brand director of Reebok India, Sajid Shamim, says, "There is a shift today in the fitness world that is born from the idea that fitness can be a sport — with all the elements that we love about traditional sports". He adds, "We believe that fitness can be as exciting and engaging as any sport."

Reebok has been promoting 'CrossFit', the revolutionary strength and conditioning programme. Sajid feels that more people are coming together to experience fitness in a community environment, with shared goals, shared experiences, and a certain level of competition.

He concludes, "We believe that fitness can change the world for the better. But for many people, fitness is a chore and something they do because they have to, not because they want to.

The goal of the campaign is to change this mindset by highlighting how 'CrossFit' can take something that is hard and add elements
of sport while fostering camaraderie."
