Much more than dance

Nach Baliye was always one of the most popular dance reality shows on television— and now that it's returning after four years, it's all set to get bigger, better and much more meaningful. With couples as diverse as the young and vivacious Jay Bhanushali and Mahi Gill; the just-married duo of Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal; new parents Smita Bansal and her husband Ankush; and Swayamvar couple Rahul and Dimpy Mahajan, the line-up
promises to be much more than before.

Nachiket Pant Vaidya, general manager, Star Plus, says, "We have seen the show with a new angle and have added a layer of seriousness to it. We want it to reflect the message that just like in dance, if you work with team spirit in your relationship, it will be great."

"Through the show, we want to say that a lot of times you may not get to choose your partner — but it is important to understand your 'baliye' and be in sync with each other. Your life will be successful," he adds.

The show is entering its fifth season and will go on air on Star Plus starting December 29. As many as 11 well-known couples from the television industry have been brought together for the comeback season, to be judged by power trio — Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, director Sajid Khan and ace choreographer Terence Lewis.

The show will be spiced up by handsome hosts Gautam Rode and Karan Wahi. Other contenders on the show include Kaanta Laga girl Shefali Zariwala and her husband Parag; carefree couple Amar and Charlie of Channel V fame; actress Suhasi Dhami and her hubby Jaisheel; actor couple Sargun Mehta and Ravi; actress Deepshikha and her partner Kaishav and actor Kushal Tandon and his Bulgarian partner, Elena.

Neelu Waghela and her actor hubby Arvind are the eldest couple on the show, but are also being considered one of the strongest jodis.

A plot to end the festivities

Catch 'Dr Suess' How The Grinch Stole Christmas' on Zee Studio at 10.30 pm on December 24. The Grinch (played by Jim Carrey) is embittered after the rejection by the Whos — who live in the town of Whoville — while he had been a child.

He now lives alone in a cave, choosing isolation. Little Cindy Lou Who (played by Taylor Momsen) attempts to bridge the gap by inviting the Grinch to the town's Christmas festivities. But things fall apart when he is publicly humiliated. Watch the film to see how Grinch hatches a plot.

It's a relentless pursuit

The film 'Behind Enemy Lines' stars the talented Owen Wilson, Gene Hackman, Vladimir Mashkov, Joaquim de Almeida and Gabriel Macht.

Lieutenant Chris Burnett is a top naval aviator, who is frustrated that fragile geo-politics have kept him from what he knows best: flying F/A-18 'Superhornet' jets into combat. During a routine reconnaissance mission, Burnett

photographs something no one was meant to see and is shot down. Trapped, Burnett struggles to survive the relentless pursuit of a ruthless secret police enforcer, a deadly
tracker and countless hostile troops.

With so much time running out, Admiral Reigart makes the tough decision to set aside the rules of the tightly-controlled world in which he operates; he risks his career to launch a renegade rescue mission to save the life of one soldier.

This decision leads NATO authorities to prevent Reigart from mounting a rescue attempt, which NATO fears will disrupt a fragile peace. Tune in to this action-packed movie on

A race to Mordor

In the second installment of the popular 'Lord of the Rings' series, Sauron's forces continue to increase and his allies grow.

The Ringwraiths return in an even more frightening form. Saruman's army of
Uruk Hai is ready to launch an assault against Aragorn and the people of Rohan. Yet, the Fellowship is broken and Boromir is dead.

With little hope left, Frodo and Sam march on into Mordor, unprotected. A number of new allies join Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Pippin and Merry — and they must defend Rohan and attack Isengard.

Yet, while all this is going on, Sauron's troops mass toward the City of Gondor, for the War of the Ring is about to begin. Tune in to 'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers'
