Play time

'Picasso at the Lapin Agile', a play by Steve Martin will be staged at Jagriti, Whitefield on December 15 ( 8 pm) and 16 (3 pm and 6.30 pm). It is produced by Tahatto. In 1904, on a fateful night, in a quaint bar in Paris, Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein run into each other. What follows is the meeting of a bunch of quirky characters and witty exchanges that make the evening as entertaining as it is unreal. Written by Steve
Martin (the Steve Martin), the themes of creation, the meaning of genius and its
responsibilities are palatable, because they are delivered with a pinch of salt and tongue-in-cheek humour. The director is Vaisakh Shankar.
