Wonderland, with a twist
Alice in Wonderland' airs on November 28 at 8.05 pm on Zee Studio. Alice (played by Mia Wasikowska) is all of 19 when she gets engaged to an English nobleman. Alice finds her fiancé rather stupid — and so, she runs away from her engagement party, wondering whether she wants to go through the marriage at all.
That's when she falls down a hole in the garden and lands up in Wonderland — only it's called Underland and is inhabited by strange people and talking animals. Alice soon finds out the reason for her presence in Underland — to overthrow the horrid Jabberwocky and re-establish the queen on her throne. The movie stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover and Matt Lucas.

Black Swan' is a poignant tale, starring Natalie Portman, Vincent Cassel, Mila Kunis, Barbara Hershey and Winona Ryder. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, this is the story of Nina — a ballerina, who is consumed with passion for her art form. She yearns to play the role of the Black Swan in a dance production — but has to face rivalry from another upcoming dancer, who is perfect for the role. In 'Revenge of the Pink Panther', Peter Sellers — in his fifth appearance as the ever-bungling Inspector Clouseau — is back in full form.
