Between mother and daughter

Freaky Friday' explores the relationship between a mother and her teenaged daughter — with a comical and magic twist. Tess (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) and her daughter Anna (portrayed by Lindsay Lohan) are constantly at loggerheads. Neither is able to see the other one's point of view. On a Thursday night, the two of them have a showdown at a Chinese restaurant.

The restaurant owner's mother gives them both a fortune cookie each. Having the cookie makes Tess and Anna switch bodies the next day — which is a Friday. The freaky turn of events make the two understand each other well. But will they return to normal? Tune in to the movie on Zee Studio at 2.40 pm on November 9.

The misfit of the group

Happy Feet' airs on WBat 9 pm on November 9. In this animated movie, Mumble is an Emperor penguin who has a big problem — he does not possess the ability to sing like other penguins.

Instead, he can tap dance. Blamed for the poor fishing season and cast out by his community, Mumble meets new friends who accept him with open arms.
With his newfound pals, Mumble goes in search of the true cause of the famine — but what he finds is what he leasts expects.

Fighting against false charges

Police Story' stars Jackie Chan, Brigitte Lin, Maggie Cheung and Charlie Cho. This movie is an edge-of-the-seat thriller, revolving around Chan Ka Kui — a policeman in Hong Kong.
He scores a big hit when he single-handedly manages to arrest a powerful drug lord. But Chan's thrilling victory does not last long, since the drug-lord sets out to take revenge.
Watch the film to see what happens when Chan finds himself framed for the murder of another cop. The movie airs on November 9 at 10.59 pm on Star Movies.

Playing god for a day

God Tussi Great Ho stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, Beena Kak and Sohail Khan. The film is based on the Hollywood flick, 'Bruce Almighty', starring Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston.

Arun (played by Salman Khan) works as a television anchor and wants to be the best. He is in love with Alia (played by Priyanka Chopra) and is constantly in competition with Rocky (essayed by Sohail Khan), who is a colleague.

Unable to become the best at his job and to speak of his love to Alia, the frustrated Arun yells at God to change his life. That's when God (essayed by Amitabh Bachchan) appears before him and offers Arun the chance to run the universe over the next 10 days. Watch the film to see how Arun mishandles the situation. It airs on Zee Cinema at 9 pm on November 9.
