In an effort to create awareness among the student community, the management students of CMR Centre for Business Studies (CMRCBS) held a rally on the theme 'Go Green - Save the Earth'. The students made posters with messages such as 'nurture nature for our future', 'trees are the roots of all living' and 'go green and help ourselves'.
The programme that was flagged off by C M Bhaskar Reddy, director, CMR Group of Institutions, had both the students and the faculty participate in full strength.
The rally started from OMBR Layout and passed through Ayyappa Temple in Banaswadi and concluded at Raj Kumar Park in Kammanahalli. At the park, the students and faculty took an oath of 'going green' and 'saving the earth'.
The pledge was administered by Jayshankar Reddy, principal, CMR Centre for Media and Management Studies, who felt that such events help in creating awareness among the students and the public on the importance of saving trees which also indirectly helps save the earth.
This rally was held as part of the induction programme for first year MBA students.
