Given that most films have such long shooting schedules — that too, away from home — it's not surprising that actors often bond a lot on the sets of their movies.
Apparently, something similar happened on the sets of Son of Sardaar, in Patiala. Veteran actress Tanuja and the film's heroine Sonakshi Sinha got along very well with each other. It seems that both of them share a passion for reading and also love to taste different delicacies — and these common loves brought them together.
"Yes, Tanuja aunty and Sonakshi have become really close. They both love reading and would talk about their favourite books and authors all the time. They even recommend books to each other.
Tanuja aunty is very fond of Sonakshi and she even cooked some delicious rajma for her when we were shooting in Patiala.
In fact, even post the shooting, they call each other very often," says a source who is close to the team. "Also, after wrapping up the shoot, Tanuja aunty and Sonakshi would stroll around near the farms and enjoy the scenic beauty. That was their ideal routine almost every day," adds the source.
