'I'm thinking of marriage'

It seems that Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has marriage on her mind — in fact, she says it's her dream to have a lavish Christian-style wedding. "It is my childhood dream to have a Christian style wedding, just like in fairytales.

I always imagine myself as a bride, who will wear a gown with a long train and veil. I find the idea of walking down the aisle and then being handed to the groom by the father very romantic," Sushmita says.

The 36-year-old former Miss Universe, who has two adopted daughters Renee and Alishah, adds that she is now thinking seriously about getting married. "I will also do a traditional Indian wedding since my father wants me to. Right now, I am seriously thinking of marriage. Maybe something will happen next year," she adds.

Sushmita has allegedly dated director Mudassar Aziz and actor Randeep Hooda earlier. She was recently rumoured to be dating business man Imtiaz Khatri. The actress walked the ramp at a recent fashion event, wearing a full-skirted rose-coloured ball gown and looked every bit like the bride of her dreams.

"Walking around in this dress is very emotional because of what it depicts. I am a firm believer in the institution of marriage and I feel all these are signs that are telling me it is time," she states.

Fresh projects for Karan's trio?

Snagging a role in a Karan Johar-directed movie has its benefits — and the latest to find out about this are Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, who starred in 'Student of the Year'. Apparently, the trio have already been offered new projects with the film-maker. Sources say that Karan has offered all three of his 'students' further films under his banner, regardless of the box-office performance of 'Student of the Year'.

However, Varun has been forced to take a rain check as he is now committed to a film with his father, David Dhawan. Apparently, the director is keen that his younger son star in a movie, which will be directed by his elder son — Rohit Dhawan, of Desi Boyz fame.
David is excited about the response to his son's performance and says, "I've a director and a leading man at home now.

So, I am very keen to start my own home banner. But I had to wait. Neither of my sons wanted to make his debut in a home production. They wanted to prove themselves outside the comfort zone and my wife and I totally endorsed their plans."

Now that both his sons have proved themselves with their first efforts, David might start his home banner soon. "All three of us are definitely doing something together," he confirms.

On good terms at last!

It seems that nothing lasts in tinsel town — be it grudges or friendships. There was a time when Randhir Kapoor and veteran actor Vinod Khanna didn't get along so well. In fact, 38 years ago, when they worked together at hero and villain in Haath Ki Safaai, they barely exchanged pleasantries on the sets.

However, things certainly have changed. The two actors are working together for Prabhu Deva's upcoming untitled love story and apparently, their relations have turned quite cordial. In fact, when Randhir Kapoor recently had to take off some time from the shooting schedule for the film — since his daughter Kareena was getting married — Vinod Khanna was more than accommodating.

"Dabboo ji (Randhir) and Vinod ji have all their scenes together. They play best friends in the film and are inseparable on location — both on and off camera. Vinod ji immediately agreed to wait for his co-star to finish with the family wedding," says a source from the unit. Prabhu Deva adds, "Vinod ji and Randhir ji share a fabulous equation. We had to adjust our schedule according to the wedding. There was no stress. Vinod ji was
completely accommodating."

Proud of her husband

Genelia D'souza is nothing if not a supportive wife. The actress is thrilled that her husband Riteish Deshmukh's Marathi production Balak Palak was screened at the '14th Mumbai Film Festival Saturday'. The film deals with teenagers' curiosity regarding sex.

"I am very happy to be here. I am so happy that the film is being screened at the prestigious Mumbai Film Festival. I haven't seen the film and I'll be seeing it here for the first time," Genelia says.

Balak Palak revolves around the life of four teenage friends, who discover that a fellow resident of their colony leaves due to a disgraceful event. They take it up as a challenge to find what this act is. After an eight-year-long relationship, Riteish and Genelia tied the knot on February 3 this year.
