Judges' view

Prasad Bidapa: "I expected to see something creative, and I saw something wonderful! There was a great energy here and the colleges did a lovely job. There was lots of originality as well as creative ideas."

Niveditha: "This has been a great show. It was loads of fun — I think in most shows, the fashion is very important, but so is the energy!"

Manoviraj Khosla: "I think the students did a great job with styling. It's great to see such enthusiasm. It's nice when students take the effort to make their own clothes."

Sanchita: The students did a jolly good job! Many of them made the outfits with their own hands and their own ideas. This was their five minutes of fame — with
a lot of hard work behind it."

Winners' speak

Hassan (Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering): "Our team effort has paid off. We're excited to be the top college in Bangalore when it comes to fashion."

Anookya (Mount Carmel College): Our concept was based on daily life in the metro — we portrayed being very robotic in the morning but at night, we always party! It was loads of fun."

Shruti (Vogue Institute of Fashion and Technology):
"We went for a neon collection to portray life after dark in a metropolitan, with elements like infrastructure, entertainment, fashion and nightlife. All the clothes were handmade."

Jeffery Ponappa (best male model):
"It was a great feeling. I think with charming smile and confidence, we can do wonders. I'm happy to have come out with flying colours in 'Colours of Metrolife'!"

Rhea Subbaiah (best female model): "I feel really wonderful to have won. I wasn't expecting this at all! I've been modelling for around a year."
