Actor Ashmit Patel, who raised many eyebrows for getting cosy with co-contestants during his stint in reality show 'Bigg Boss', says he is an affable person and does not hesitate when he is surrounded by girls.

Ashmit, 34, said he is often misunderstood for his friendly nature and is completely unperturbed by the reports about his link-ups with Veena Mallik or Sara Khan.

"These rumours don't affect me. I am an affable person and my co-contestants Veena, Sara or Shweta (Tiwari) in 'Bigg Boss' found me very friendly. I enjoy life and I don't take all these gossips surrounding me seriously because I somehow feel these are part and parcel of life," said Ashmit.

The actor is making a come back to the small screen with the second season of 'Superstud' on UTV Bindass. In the show, 'Superdude', going on air in October, he will be seen mentoring 13 boys on how to woo girls. "I was very keen to take up the second season titled

'Superdude'. I have always loved being a part of reality shows with such great
concepts because unlike film they give you a chance to be yourself and engage with your audience," he said.

Asked about his reason behind taking up this project, he said, "My own experiences in life are the inspiration behind it. I was always surrounded with lovely beauties in my life and I know how to woo them. Respect is the only key. There are many boys who don't have the confidence to face girls and I will teach them that."

Ashmit said he will never be a part of fiction show because he says that he does not relate with them. "I will never do fiction because I don't identify with them. Fictions are not my cup of tea. I like those shows where I can be myself," he added.

Ashmit, who started his career as an assistant director to Vikram Bhatt and later made his debut as an actor with Bhatt's Inteha, will star in two films Parivaar and
'A Good Night'.

"I have been busy these days with my film projects. Parivaar is a family drama, where I am paired opposite Sara and 'Good Night' is a suspense thriller. After
'Superdude' I will also shoot a Punjabi film," he said.
