Radhika Pandit is busy shuttling between shooting and promoting her latest film Addhuri, which is slated to hit the screens in the middle of June.

If all goes well, Radhika will have four or five releases this year and offers have been pouring in non-stop. "It's really nice to know that I am wanted and people appreciate what I do. You are an actor only when you are busy and I now feel like a complete actor," says Radhika.

The director of Addhuri has made sure that everything about the movie has a sense of freshness about it. Radhika, who has been roped in to act opposite Dhruva Sarja, Radhika says she didn't take too long to identify with the character. "My role portrays everything that a modern girl is today. Her feelings, likes, dislikes and peculiarities are brought out well in the film" says Radhika.

She says there's something really different about the movie, "The theme of love has been narrated in a different style. I am sure a lot of women will be able to identify with my role and draw parallels. It's not the usual love story, no candy floss. This love is simple and rare to find."

Radhika also feels that today's girls are independent, outspoken and smart, "For instance, I find that the young girls no longer depend on their parents to be dropped and picked up from the college. They can take their own decisions and make their own choices. As for me, I still take the opinion of a lot of people before I take the final call," she reasons.

Radhika will also be seen in 'Drama', a Yograj Bhat film, where she will appear in a role that she's never really done before. "I play a flirtatious character. She's bindass and a compulsive flirt. I don't know why Yograj sir thought I could carry off this character really well but I am glad he trusted me with this role," she says.

About her role as an NRI girl in Sagar, Radhika says, "the film is a multi-starrer and I am not bothered by the multicast because the script and my contribution takes precedence. The film has interesting twists and turns," she says.

Radhika doesn't forget to take appropriate breaks, "I take off with my family whenever I can afford to. These breaks surely recharge you to work harder," she sums up.
